In Russia there lives one of the greatest writers who write about tragedic events in the world. His name is Vasilyi Grossman. One of his books "The Black Book" describes the horrors of the Holocaust. In would be good if we, living today, read this book written by him. It's unfair when someone decides whether you life have the right to live or not.
And I want to quote in conclusion: "All this madness, all this rage, all this flaming death of our civilization and our hopes, has been brought about because a set of official gentlemen, living luxurious lives, mostly stupid, and all without imagination or heart, have chosen that it should occur rather than that any one of them should suffer some infinitesimal rebuff to his country's pride." - Bertrand Russell

Dear Adam,
thanks for your great contribution to our site..
Unfortunately, considering what has happened on the Gaza strait recently, it seems as if man was not able to learn from his mistakes..
Some governors and politicians still think that the only solution is WAR ..But WAR cannot but increase HATRED among different peoples...

Dear Antonella,
You are right. And our role is to make our students be aware of these matters. And they should know that these rules also apply to their everyday life.
